This is Star with a pair of Basset Fauve puppies - he's a very calm dog and the youngsters can trust him to look after them.

We liked this picture from Oct 08 - Redemption, Ruby and Cracker the Fauve

It is said that Irish Wolfhounds are addictive, you can't have just one. That is true here, as between three and nine IWs have shared their lives with mine at any one time, and for a great many years.

The Wolfhound family was joined by a " Little Orange Dog" in 2004. We now have seven Basset Fauves ( three and a half couple!) and they all live together harmoniously.

The wolfhounds all live in the house and sometimes go to shows or to lure coursing.

This is their history, and I hope you will be patient as I slowly scan add pictures and comments to the pages here. I am indebted to Jo Braine for her time in scanning many of the older photographs included here.
