One of the many things i have forgotten to do on the home page is to insert an address and contact number....

Bruce Little and Liz Thornton can be found near Andover in Hampshire ( within three miles of the nicest pub in the world, the Hatchet at Chute) and our telephone number is 01264 790720

We have updated the Basset Fauve pages recently and added a 2010 dateline - the latest fauve puppy pictures can be found there and more are on the blog below.

Clementine the fauve's puppies are leaving home ! To see more of their photos as they grow up go to http://clementinethefauve.blogspot.com/

Clementine and some of her puppies are pictured below, the babies have joined some lovely homes and are settling in well.

It is said that Irish Wolfhounds are addictive, you can't have just one. That is true here, as between three and nine IWs have shared their lives with mine at any one time, and for a great many years.

The Wolfhound family was joined by a " Little Orange Dog" four years ago, a  Basset Fauve de Bretagne "Hibeck Clementine". Clementine's niece " Hibeck Cream Cracker" has been here since Aug 07, its hard to tell them apart.

The hounds all live in the house and sometimes go to shows or to lure coursing.

This is their history, and I hope you will be patient as I slowly scan add pictures and comments to the pages here. I am indebted to Jo Braine for her time in scanning many of the older photographs included here.
