This is Woody - enjoying one of the many pleasures of his new home. After looking around his property in Devon with its lake and 13 acres i was ready to move in with him (!). Little Apricot goes to her new family on 3rd July - we will miss her tremendously.

Under "2008 show results" is now lurking "2009 show results". This begins with pictures from the IW society show Jan 09. Click on 2008 to open....

Under "Basset Fauve de Bretagne" see "bassetfauves" for the 2009 photographs and pictures of Cracker's new puppies.

Congratulations to Linda Forret-Close whose Brachan Lough Dee over Tapsalterie won the bitch type cup ( best bitch under two years of age) at the IWC championship show earlier in April -followed by Junior B at WELKS.

Her brother in Germany won "Exc" on his debut and a junior cert. At his latest show he was BOB!

It is said that Irish Wolfhounds are addictive, you can't have just one. That is true here, as between three and nine IWs have shared their lives with mine at any one time, and for a great many years.

The Wolfhound family was joined by a " Little Orange Dog" four years ago, a  Basset Fauve de Bretagne "Hibeck Clementine". Clementine's niece " Hibeck Cream Cracker" has been here since Aug 07, its hard to tell them apart.

The hounds all live in the house and sometimes go to shows or to lure coursing.

This is their history, and I hope you will be patient as I slowly scan add pictures and comments to the pages here. I am indebted to Jo Braine for her time in scanning many of the older photographs included here.
