I thought I would share some of the pictures of the Carrickaneena hounds from the 2008 IWCA Speciality. Eileen Flanagan Snr stored semen on Ch Mochras Ipse facto ( born 1990). Her Ch Carrickaneena Treise holds conformation and lure titles and has produced wonderful puppies to "Maxim", keeping up the Carrickaneena tradition for great type and bone. You will find Am Ch Slieve Gullion on his own tab on the index to the left.

 

 

 

Pictured above - Carrickaneena Sievanorra (L) and Carrickaneena Slieve Bearnach (R)  , owners Kerri and Karl Murphy and Angie Silva, both hounds owned jointly with the Eileen Flanagans. Two big powerful girls,Murphy/ Flanagan's Bearnagh placing 4th in the 12 strong American bred class. She is now a champion....  

 

 

 

 

 A third sister - Carrickaneena Slievenamon ( the beautiful Arrow) second in the 15 strong Open bitch class.

 

 

 

 

  Pictured above is young Jack - the baby brother taking 2nd in puppy aged 10 months. I dont think I'm sticking my neck out too far in thinking he is the best dog puppy ever by Maxim ( look at him at the same age on the Ipse Facto page). Jack's registered name means "the fact again" in Gaelic so watch for him later as Carrickaneena An Firic Aris.
